Huế là cố đô. Đất Huế là đất Vua. Con người Huế thấm đẫm hai nền văn hóa lớn, văn hóa cung đình và văn hóa Phật giáo. Văn hóa cung đình thể hiện ở cốt cách và cử chỉ: đi chậm, nói khẽ, khoan thai, từ tốn, quý phái, thanh tao. Văn hóa Phật giáo sâu lắng ở tâm hồn: tinh tế, khiêm cung, khoan dung, buông bỏ và biết đủ. Hue is the ancient capital. Hue land is the land of the King. Hue people are imbued with two great cultures, the Imperial culture and the Buddhist culture. Hue Imperial culture is reflected in the manners and gestures: walking slowly, speaking softly, deliberate, moderate, aristocratic, and ethereal. Hue Buddhist culture is deeply rooted in the souls of Hue people: subtle, modest, tolerant, letting go and knowing enough. The short film “Cat Tuong Quan family’s ways” was built by me and a group of young Hue people to describe the characteristics of the Hue people’s personality and soul, with the desire to introduce the culture of Hue people – Vietnam to the world.
